About the 'NO BORDERS' Project

The 'Skills for Sustainable Employment in the Cross-border Region of Montenegro and the Republic of Kosovo - No Borders! (NO BORDERS)' project is implemented by the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of Kosovo, NGO ETRI, and the Regional Business Center Berane. This project, co-financed by the European Union, aims to increase the employability of young people (ages 15-30) and women in the border area. Through comprehensive training and support programs, the 'NO BORDERS' project provides a unique opportunity for business development and professional improvement in the region.

Training and Business Idea Development

'NO BORDERS' offers an extensive training program that lasts from January 15 to April 15, 2024, aiming to support unemployed individuals (ages 18-30) and women from nine municipalities in Montenegro. Participants will go through five introductory two-day workshops covering topics such as legal issues, business registration, financial management, strategic planning, business models, marketing and sales, and digital marketing. After the introductory workshops, participants will have the opportunity for 75 hours of individual work with mentors through online sessions, ensuring thorough support for the development and realization of their business ideas.

Support and Awards for the Best Business Ideas

The 'NO BORDERS' project offers not just training, but also significant financial support for the best business ideas. The most successful participants will be awarded 2,000 euros for the first place, 1,000 euros for the second place, and 500 euros for the third place. These awards are intended to be invested in the development and growth of their businesses, further encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation in the region.
